ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE 3

Topic: ACCEPTABLE SACRIFICE 3
Text: Gen4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Sacrifice offered for the remission of sins as described in the previous study were UMBLOODY such first fruits and tithes, meat and drink offering and incense, BLOODY such as burnt offerings, peace offerings, and sins offering.

Heb10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

In Heb10:1-4, the text reviewed that the offer of bloody and unbloody sacrifice will not take away humanities sins. Meaning that the offer of ram, goat and likes like in the old testament is of no use at this acceptable time of grace.

Now in Isa49:8, Isaiah prophesied about the dispensation of grace, the time whereby burnt offering and likes will not be relevant.

Psalm51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

This is likewise a prophesy of the dispensation of grace by David revealing the time when no man will work for their salvation through offering of burnt, sins, peace offering. God delight no more in the work you do to get yourself saved. Heb10:6

Why the Lord delight not in sacrifice offered by men

Heb10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

[11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

[12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God

Since the sacrifice offered by men will not take away sin Heb10:11, God gave His only begotten son; Jesus to offer Himself as a sacrifice for the sanctification and perfection of men Heb10:12-17

Heb10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin

Malachi1:8 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin

Why then are we to offer the sacrifice of praise? Moreso what is the sacrifice of praise?
